These pieces are different from antique furniture that has been restored. The wood itself has the history, and we have simply brought out the character and beauty for you to enjoy. The trees we use were milled and crafted almost a century ago according to latvian traditional methods. This is one of the reasons why this furniture is so unique. Another reason, is that it has been loved before by the bugs and worms that made their homes there in ancient times. You can still see their trails. You can also see the evidence of the lumber's long usefulness in the decorative nail holes and fissures. Even though this furniture is made nowadays, it has been fashioned by skilled craftsmen, not in a factory.
